What are my cookie cutters made from?
When it comes to 3D printing cookie cutters, PLA is a popular material choice. It is easy to work with, affordable, and produces high-quality prints. PLA is also food-safe, which is important when making cookie cutters that will come into contact with food. However, it is important to take proper care of your PLA cookie cutters to ensure they last as long as possible. Hand washing with mild soap and avoiding high temperatures are just a few things you can do to keep them in good condition.

Do you have tips on how to use my cookie cutters?
For best results, cookie dough should be rolled to 1/4″ thickness and chilled in the refrigerator for a minimum of two hours (preferably overnight). Remove from refrigerator and let stand for 5 minutes before cutting. It is best to flour the cookie cutter before using to allow easy release.
Should I cut or stamp first?
This is really personal preference. If you stamp first and cut second, the sides of the cookie typically remain even because the dough has already been spread during stamping. If you cut first and then stamp, you run the risk of uneven sides if too much pressure is applied to an area.
